You’re Beautiful

by FH2o on December 6, 2005

I came across the most stunning skies on the way home from work yesterday evening. I cannot recall seeing a more spectacular sunset of wild multi-coloured swirls than this in a while. Truly an amazing Technicolor display which I tried to capture through my car windscreen as I drove!
You’re beautiful, it’s true!

I have also included two photos I had taken during lunchtime, of the lone bloom of our recently planted water lilies to replace the water hyacinth, the beautiful menace. You too are beautiful! We all are - and it’s true!

Yesterday afternoon I experienced a similar sky. I had to call to K in the house to come outside and share it. Something about those colors inspire one.

The water lily is awesome too. Such beauty is a gift from nature and make one happy to be alive.

Pandabonium - we were looking at the same sky! :)The deep rich colours were simply awesome!

Yeah, low, I was singing along to this very catchy hit song (but with very shallow lyrics and video) playing on my CD. Had to take lots of shots in order to capture a few good ones! I think u are able to take better pictures when you are in good cheer, right?

Damn, how come Singapore sky never produce this colour?

Or are you sure you did not photoshop this pics?

FH2O December 7, 2005 at 2:01 am

No need photoshop lah when you got a ‘good’ camera! ;)
Quick, go check whether the price has dropped further on the Pentax Optio43WR!

It’s the same sky; one just have to be vigilant when nature puts on its display at any moment in time.
Hmmm.. maybe drinking some of the holy water may put you in better alignment with the cosmos to see such wonders! :)

Too bad I didn’t have a camera yesterday evening as I was looking at the sun (which was like a salted egg-yolk) just beside the Petronas twin towers. Awesome. I could only commit the loveliness to memory but wished that I could share it in a post.

I was just revisiting this post and saw the water lily in the top half of my screen and your neighbor’s son, Zhe Wei in the bottom half, and can’t decide which is more beautiful. Children are our hope and experience life so fresh, so honestly.

FH2O December 13, 2005 at 2:00 am

panda - i couldn’t have agreed with you more!

chen - i love to take photos to capture the fleeting moments of the beauty and magic of life; which we tend to overlook in this hustle and bustle world.
