Mr. Sim’s Tropical Garden

by FH2o on January 9, 2006

We went back to Mr Sim (012-8881989) ’s garden in the morning at Lorong Arang 13T off Arang Road, Kuching to pre-order some flowers for Chinese New Year; and I took the opportunity to take some more photographs of his lovely plants and flowers. As the affable Mr. Sim is however not as obliging as his plants were in front of the camera; I have unfortunately no photo to put a face to of this amiable and talented landscape designer.

It had been raining the night before and everything has that fresh ‘just rinsed’ and ‘newness’ look to it. A picture is worth a thousand words, so here are the 11 thousands worth which I hope would convey a sense of the beauty of the natural lushness of tropical vegetation. Sure beats looking at the cold and strange white stuff all day long, right momo?

Beautiful pics. I didn’t like snow. Glad its gone.

I’d enjoy wandering around Mr. Sims place and sniffing all those plants.
