The morning newspaper carried the story of the fire yesterday afternoon but wrongly reported that the fire stations “put out the fire within 10 minutes”! The poor guy’s ass was burnt to a crisp and this is really rubbing salt into the wound. When I reached the scene the fire engines were already there and I stayed for around another 20minutes before I left at which time the fire was still raging at its heights. 10 minutes to put out the fire? Then the house would not be gutted! Duh! This is really the dearth of professional reporting. Even from the badly exposed picture; one can see that the entire house is engulfed in flames! As a matter of fact when I left, they ran out of water! Can you believe that?
