Wet, wet, wet!

by FH2o on January 15, 2006

The weather of late has been a bit of a damper; even for the ‘landas’ (rainy) season - daily rain for weeks on end. But ponder this; human can survive without food for about a month but would perish in a week without water. Water covers 75 percent of the planet while the human body is 70 percent water! So be grateful and happy that you are seeing plenty of it and so get wet, wet wet! (as long as there’re no floods!)

NB. Photo-montage of my ‘flooded’ back garden on a rainy afternoon. The sub-soil drainage just couldn’t cope with the deluge.

Wah! Nice collage. Love the color bursts and splashes. Soaked wet grass never looked so refreshing! Is it weird that the close up (left side picture of grass) looks delicious and enticing to me? Like vegetable in clear soup dish.

I agree agus, nice collage. I like the water droplets on the leaves.

We had a big rain storm here in Kashima on Saturday. The rain was heavy and being blown by strong winds. Momo even had to abandon her house and come sleep in the laundry room. K’s train home only made it half way home and she had to take a taxi the rest of the way.

panda - luckily the storms here are not as severe; imagine stopping a train in its tracks!
