Thursday’s Thought for the Day

by FH2o on January 18, 2006

As I was leaving the office I noticed and took the following photographs of this interesting clouds formation in the evening sky dabbled like paints across a canvas. If we look around us beauty is everywhere.

See It!

people choose wat they wanna see. most are preoccupied with everyday lives to notice anything… let alone nature’s beauty. glad you are not one of them.

mangroovedan - life generally can be mediocre, ordinary, ugly and hard for a lot of people. but ‘we are what we think’ (or we become what we think about all day long - napoleon hill) and i believe its a viscious cycle that when we think negatively we begets negative things and with the tedium of daily struggles; life is anything but beautiful! i need to constantly remind myself to be positive as unfortunately negativity is all around us! my 2 sens views n opinions on my blog …

i’m talkin too much here!

Strange, I seem to see more of the cloud in Kuching, then in Singapore.

And also the storm, Kuching rain is also very different from that of Singapore.

robin - maybe so. when i was living and working in spore then, i never look at the sky or notice nature (or anything else for that matter) at all!
that was a time of my life when career and work took precedence over all else … *sigh*

FH2o, very nice. Just like Van Gogh’s paintings. By the way, I’ve been inspired by your pictures and came up with a post on Vincent van Gogh.

’see it’ - Sound advice FH2O. Beautiful sky, nicely captured. Sometimes when I am out with a camera taking photos, I realize I am spending too much time looking through the lens or viewfinder, and not enough time experiencing the moment. One cannot take the best pictures if one does not first see and feel the subject. Do you agree? I can guess by your photos and your written thoughts, that you don’t hunt the picture down, but observe and let it find you.
