I saw this clever thought provoking ad for Gulf News in Emirates inflight TV & Radio Guide here and since not too many of us are going to be on an Emirates flight anytime soon; I had taken the liberty to reproduce it here.The fine print says:
"AT THIS POINT, most readers have happily assumed that they know this word. But don't jump to a conclusion. After all, it could be a word decribing an unpleasant person. *BTW, I'm sure all of you know that "FCUK" stands for French Connection UK ...

I abhor profanities and the frequency and ease at which it leaves some ppl's mouth and keyboard is truly shocking and distasteful. And because we are so 'exposed' to it every whichway we turn; it has become ingrained in a negative way that we jump to conclusion whenever we see the letters f__k.
However the lesson here is that despite this, we should be guarded to jump to conclusion too quickly before we had discerned what are the facts.
