Passage taken from a beautiful book by Norman Maclean. I hope my photo of the setting evening sun reflected on the river (Sg Stutong) by our home does justice to the beautiful words.
It has also being made into a movie (1992) directed by Robert Redford and also star Brad Pitt as the rebellious brother.
As a moving and enthralling true story it is not just a family history, but a history of Life. Try to watch the movie or better still read the book if you haven’t done so already.
