It would appear that a lot of things have changed in Kuching …. but some things never change. Which is why I live in Melbourne.

batukawa - one sure way to get disgusted, disheartened or depressed is to follow the politics here and the sad sickening state of affairs. we cant change the world and ppl probably deserve wat they get.

i ‘insulate’ myself by not knocking my heads against the brickwall of stupidity and madness of the system.

education could be a key and the next generation of better educated and developed minds could bring about a long needed and meaningful change.

i really do not want to get started on this! politics sucks! *sigh*

Agreed. Let’s stick to the beautiful nature around us. And on that front, you have done a great job. I often drop by your blog at work to check out your latest adventures. I find your photos provide a small island of tranquillity amidst the chaos of the city “rat race”. Keep up the good work!

Oh, no…Malaysia really is becoming Westernized!

(So…do you get accused of treason or ordered to stop coming to your church/temple/mosque if you support the wrong candidate? That’s the way it was during the last U.S. presidential election!)

Well, we cannot be sure who done it unless we caught the person… I am politically neutral but just wondering if their own ppl could have done this themselves to get sympathy votes??? Just a thought from a different angle…..
