Consolation Skies

I broke one of my ‘cardinal’ rules today – “always carry a camera”; and missed the most glorious rainbow I had seen this year. I could have kicked myself.
But as I got home; the skies turned fiery red and the trees looked as if they were on fire and I rushed inside for my camera. As I snapped away, Simon my amused neighbour got home and he took a picture of me taking the sunset! Since he's not like Robin, I wonder what is he going to do with that photo. Hmm.
This is a small consolation to the glorious rainbow but we should gratefully receive all the small mercies that life may throw at us sometimes! I do; so enjoy these ‘small mercies’! Nice huh?

its my life story - i actually love the leaves and I'm glad that someone else also did! kinda moody but nice :)
lam chun see - I'm a true believer! :)
I suspect Simon also keeps a blog and your amusing pictures and antics are sprayed all over it. Have you asked him?
he actually 'confessed' that he has started a blog but is not willing to 'unveil' it yet until its up to *ahem* 'standard'! (whatever that means!)
i trust that I'm not a subject of his blog - strange neighbour's obsession with skies, kayaks n stuff ...
1. He will sell that pics to me.. and I will blog it or
2. He will blog it and put an obsence caption or
3. He will made poster and stick them on every alternate lamp-post (like me searching for Elmo.. someone commented that my poster are more than PAP) or
4. He will print it and stick it outside his toilet to ward off the evil or
5. He will throw dart at it when he is angry with you.
ok.,. I run out of ideas.
Thanks for sharing nature's splendour.
Simon may be doing a blog on 'Clouds' so you may have competition there or he could just be doing something on "My Crazy Cloud-watching Neighbour". haha!
unker, next time u have to hang the camera on your neck, so u won't forget to bring it together with u ;)

Too bad about the rainbow, but you still managed to deliver with impact. Thanks for sharing!
