Vesak Evening

posted by FH2o

As we were driving home to and after dinner on Vesak Day yesterday, I couldn’t help but took the following snaps of the awe-inspiring evening skies in her various moods and colours.

“Daddy; drive! You’re holding up traffic!”

"NObody cares about sky pictures!" (Neither do I care about MTV nor flashy brands!)

The spectrum of colours reflecting the hues of a rainbow paints a majestic canvas that truly feeds the soul.

The world is truly beautiful and reveals her selves to us when we open our hearts and eyes. I know I am blessed and I also know I sound corny sometimes (So I’d been told – but what the bleep do they know anyway? I'd rather think that I sound inspiring!) but then again how do you explain these amazing skies/clouds that I’d been able to capture so consistently? Even though I'm using a basic consumer digital camera. Sheer luck? Or do we only see what we want to see in this matrix of life?

I don’t think I’m that good a photographer. But then again maybe I do kickass when it comes to photography and kayaking!

Irregardless, just enjoy these pictures – even Ah Bengs do!

FH20,
can u tell me what camera are u using ?...the pictures that u capture really great :D
anonymous - i use a 4.0 Megapixels PENTAX Optio 43 WR digital camera if I'm not using the 2.0 Megapixels Sony Cyber-shot U DSC-U60 digital camera. Simply because they're water resistant and waterproof cams.

But its not the cameras lah kiddo; although I'll be deadly with the new Sony R1!
unker,
hehhee. yeah, it's the skill that counts, not really the camera ;)
just wondering.. besides taking photo during kayaking, have u ever take any underwater photos with your pentax optio digicam? My friend is interested to get one water resistant cam (for diving) :)

btw, I like your verdict regarding "Neither do I care about MTV nor flashy brands!"
chen - careful! u must be getting 'old' like unker! heehee ;)
hahhaa.. that will be another 2 decades to go leh :P
chen - emmm but u oledi 'sounded' this age or even older ... ;)
see; u're already ahead of yourself!
