Waiting Seagulls @ Salak

by FH2o on June 28, 2006

Patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait; well to the seagulls at Kuala Salak at least!

When the fishermen pulled up their nets to collect their catch, they would throw away the unwanted small by-catch and the hovering seagulls overhead would deftly dived down to ‘snatch up’ them up from the water surface just before they sink into the depths.

I am a patient man.
I wished my life was as simple as these seagulls! *sigh*

Seagulls - the most annoying birds in the world. Absolute scavengers. Try having a picnic somewhere in Australia without 50 of them gathering around and incessantly squawking at you and at each other.

i think those are not gulls… rather, they are terns.

MangrooveDan is right - these are TERNS not gulls but both are seabirds nonetheless.

And they’re probably less annoying than the seagulls, minny.

Thanks for pointing this out! ;)
