Sunset @ Sungai Sarawak
Since around lunchtime yesterday, there had been a “blackout” on my blog for no apparent reason. I did not change any settings nor meddle with the template as I was way too busy for that having quite a number of things to attend to yesterday. It was kind of exasperating to have a blank screen staring at you in the face and kind of feeling helpless on what to do next; but I was not frantic. I put it down to a glitch in the system and that it would be restored as soon as someone got around to having a look at it. So with a kind soul’s help who was online at gmail; I managed to send off a ‘sos’ email to blogger’s helpline.
This ‘blackout’ gave a brief pause for me to reconsider some of the things that we take for granted and the denial of which would inconvenience, irritate or at even interrupt our lives and daily routine. Never take anything for granted; appreciate and be grateful for them.
Thanks to those of you who emailed, left message at the chatbox at www.kuchingkayak.com and sms me expressing their concern. It was most thoughtful and caring of you to do so. wuching - “all the time”? This is the first time this has happened to my blog. If it happens all the time, I’ll seriously consider ‘moving’ it somewhere else!
I have found Blogger to be slow sometimes, and flakey when uploading pictures, once in a while. It always comes back, eventually. It is slowest in the afternoon here (19:00 GMT) and fastest for me in the evening (03:00 GMT)I just try again later. I have a broadband connection, and realize that I sometimes have to wait for some slow servers to catch up.
Your blog probably took a much-needed vacation and went paddling on its own. Glad it’s back.

Well, like wuching said..it does happen quite often in blogspot..just give it an hour or two or more and it will be ok.

I wondered what was up with your blog, Unker! I’ve never had a similar problem with mine, but I have experienced many spells where I couldn’t put posts on my blog or even read the comments on others. It usually happens during certain “peak hours”.
