Sweet Shiny Sunday @ Semadang
posted by FH2o
We had a wonderful time on the waters on sunday floating down Sg Sarawak Kiri at Borneo Highlands. Azmi, Gette, Keng Seng, Mchael, Peggy and musician Yann from Montreal, Canada were with me on this amazing laze. I'll laze and let the pictures do the talking ...
Keng Seng snaps away at the suspension bridge at Danu.
Blue skies, clouds and trees - my favourite subjects.
Yann Faquelt, being fascinated.
Sweet shiny sunday @ Semadang.

Post a CommentOut of curiousity..you guys ever seen anything strange or out of the ordinary in Kpg Semadang? Heard a few stories from one of the villagers there that we visited during gawai....sounded interesting..like a story out of the series Supernatural :P
quavadis - we normally go there in the morning and leave by 2pm. have only seen drop-dead gorgeous sceneries!
we frequently encountered the locals fishing by the river and chatted with them but no 'twilight zone' stories from them so far! ;)
since u mentioned this, I'll ask next time! ;)

hehehe..ask them about the cockrel sounding pontianak :P or the bomoh that speaks french while in trance..tat's a nice story also
aiyoh...got stories one ah? But of course, it's the jungle we're talking about. Stories are supposedly abound, if we ask around. But the pontianak sounds really scary. I bet if you stick around for the night and listen to the story telling sessions, you'll get more that goose bumps.
But oops, you did it (semadang) again.
