I had been posting on strange or unusual fare for food this week and how appropriate that I would be greeted with a strange sight on a wet Thursday Kuching morning! I’m sure you have heard of or seen
Staghorn Ferns but have you seen a Staghorn Kenari? No? Well here’re a few snapshots of one parked near my office that I spotted this morning. I’d rather be eating strange food rather than be seen driving in this! What was the owner thinking? But that’s a sure-fire way to attract attention! Hmmm perhaps I could ask if he/she minds sporting one of my ‘Happy Kitty’ car sticker? Perhaps not …

Ooooooooh! Can I get one of those for my bike? How about for my Kuching-specific walking sandals? The things we do for ‘individuality,’ especially the things we share with hundreds (or thousands) in the name of being a socially acceptable individualist. But I want one anyway.
