Imagined or Real?

They say that you must be able to see it in your “mind’s eye” first before you can take a beautiful photograph. But I would never have been able to imagine this if I had not seen this with my own eyes. The actual scene was even more vivid and saturated. What I lack in imagination, I make up for in awareness; but neither is inherently better or superior, I think. What do you think; and what did you see or imagine today? That’s an impressive shot.
It almost feels like the colorful reflection is in the foreground and the dark trees in the background even though my eyes (not to mention common sense) tell me that’s not the case. It’s quite intense.

It’s like a forest fire raging and thick smoke all around. The tree silhouette completes the artistry! Love it!
