I supposed expecting someone to give up smoking is akin to asking me to give up on enjoying durians, curries, coffee or heavens forbid, kayaking! BTW I don't smoke; though I can emphatise with smokers but not tolerate their secondhand smoke ... *cough* “I tried to give up drugs by drinking”.
