On the Air - Red FM 91.9 on Wednesday, 27th September 2006 @ 13:30 hours

posted by FH2o

For those of you in Sarawak, you may want to tune in to Red FM (91.9, RTM Radio Malaysia Sarawak, Red Network) on Wednesday, 27th September 2006 at 1.30 pm as I would be interviewed “LIVE” on air by Jennifer (photo of her on the left taken off Red FM website) on her radio talk show “The Living Room”.

This would be the first time I would be on air and I'm quite thrilled even though I'm trying not to think or make too much of this. What will I say? So stay tuned!

Meanwhile I should stay off fried food and it's a good thing that durians are not in season now! If not I would also sound weird in addition to being weird!

My thanks to Jennifer for inviting me to be on her show. It is indeed an honour. I trust that she'll have no regrets after the show! :o)

Note: I'm post dating this to the 27th so that it can stay on as a 'sticky' post till then!

wuching - i suppose it's not everyday you find a kayaking architect unker blogger who loves taking pics of the skies! so she probably wants to find out if i'm a real person not a hallucinating lunatic! ;)
however my talents does not extend to dispensing advice though!
Woooohooooooo!!!

:)

I wish I could listen the "live" interview... any chance to record it and later on put in your blog so everyone who are interested but unable to listen the "live", will get the chance to listen it.

Drink a lot of honey and lime juice.. it will make your voice sounds more beautiful ;)
Say anything except about Chilax...they don wan the publicity. Everytime I pass it on the way home I also pretend its not there. My wife asked me one day at Pizza Juction - Wife: "Hey, that Chilax place has a nice front deco"
Me: "What place?"
Wife:"The one that looks like a Music cafe"
Me:"It does not look like anything"
Wife:"We should go there one day and try out what they serve" Me:"What place?"
Wife:"That Chilax"
Me:" What is Chilax?"
Wife:"There - its spelled Chilax"
Me:"I don't see it"
Wife:"Why are you like this?"
Me:"Like what?"
Wife:"Trying to avoid the place"
Me:"What place?"

Hehehe.... ihave done my part and maybe will get free drinks from Mavis :)

For sure, you shouldn't choose the Titanic song, or Backstreet Boys' Drowning!!! Ha ha ha! How about "Islands in the stream" by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton (even though it seems to refer to Dolly in the stream doing the back stroke!) or "Boats against the current" - Eric Carmen or Olivia Newton John or Blondie's "the tide is high".....
wow Francis, congratulation, ur will be going on air :) i want to record it down. and desmond conversation with his wife, funny!!!
Beatles, Yellow Submarine hehehehehehehhe

Anyway, Jst ask STP for songs, he sends in his request all the time via sms to Traxx FM from 1 to 4pm everyday :P
First FH2o goes on the water, then he goes on the air.

What's next...orbit?

Choose one gentle love ballad and one brutal heavy metal tune just to mess them up.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Infect them with the "Sky pics" bugs!!! GO unker!
Congratulation!!! You've gotten the attention of the airwaves!!!Get it podcast!!
Rainbow connection by Kenny Login of course.
FH2o, Congratulations! The stage is yours. Make us proud.

I'm with MM on the choice of songs.

MM, you may be right, next he'll go to space after water and air. Yep, can't deny he's a traveller, alright.
Okay okay, it's not enough that you get time (plenty of it) on water, kayaking. Now you get time on air, talking. hmmm, come to think of it, water is 'air'. Hey, you get the same thing in two diferent languages! Paddle on then.

Wish I could tune in. Someone should record the segment and kindly link us all up.

Do enjoy your airtime and tell us how it went.
