Parking

I dunno about you but I love the ‘parking’ on the rivers which is readily available, convenient and safe. And it’s easy and free!

So how’s the ‘parking’ situation at your work place?

The reason is that I recently helped a good friend of mine from Malaysia lease an apartment in the CBD for his son who is studying at the RMIT University.

I paid for the bond and first month’s rent on his behalf (which he promptly reimbursed me later). Since the apartment is just next to RMIT, his son doesn’t need a car and I get to use the car park.

Well, isn’t “that’s what friends are for!”

fyi - the current sale price of a freehold parking spot in Melbourne CBD is about AUD 50,000 - 60,000.
