I took my time to take in the sights and serenity as I paddled my way up Sungai Sarawak Kiri on saturday morning.

Wow…that’s certainly a calm-looking stream! The sky looks a bit grayish. How was the weather?

Calm and peaceful… so nice! That’s what we really need in the weekend after a hectic week :)

mm - unfortunately the haze’s still around with an overcast sky so it was a ‘cool’ morning on the waters.
I was actually paddling upstream against the currents! I had to get out and portage at the rapids. I took photos in the eddies and slower flowing portions of the river when I need a break!

selba - yes. it’s beautiful and I love it!

ainsley - glad that you all enjoyed the trip.

On the day I used a waterproof Sony Cyber-shot U Digital Still Camera DSC-U60 with a paltry 2.0 Megapixels only! For viewing on a webpage it more than suffice though.
I was using this instead of the 4.0 Megapixel Pentax Optio as I left it in my office.
OK will send you the group photos I took and I may even blog it! ;)

If you ever tire of any of your digital cameras, you know where you can send them.

Of course, I fear it won’t help in my case.
