There had been ocassional bamboo rafting trips down Sungai Sarawak Kiri organized separately by the local authorities and the HHH (Hash House Harriers), but ‘rafting’ down in kayaks are considerably more fun, comfortable and relaxing. And you don’t have to do it standing up; unless you choose to - like some incorrigible people! (you guess who … *ahem*)
