Of Dog and Cats

The 2 hours plus typical delay of our Air Asia flight from Bangkok to Kota Kinabalu was made that much more bearable by this cute little member of the K9 unit at the airport. Our children especially KH2o was completely won over by this little charmer and the officer almost have to pry him away from the kids so that the little beagle can resume his usual airport duties as a sniffer dog!
Unfortunately the originally announced 2 hours delay turned out to be a 4 hours plus delay and we missed our connecting flight to Kuching when we finally landed at Kota Kinabalu airport. Consequently AirAsia offered us the next day flight at 1.45 p.m. at no extra charge but would not compensate us for any other costs (budget airline remember?) and we had to look for a cheap accomodation at around 10.00 pm to spend the night and we decided to try a bed and breakfast place for a change.

We looked at two places and decided on the second one primarily because that they kept 2 simply adorable little kittens at the reception area! Meow, meow!
