Sunset Trees @ Bau

by FH2o on January 12, 2007

We had to wait for this duo who were trailing behind the group and when we finally got out of the river, the sun was already setting. As we were putting up and tieing down the kayaks, I noticed the beautiful lights silhouetted against the trees and bracing the camera against the roof racks, I quickly grabbed a few shots before the beautiful lights disappeared.

It was amazing how the colours of the sunlight can change over a short span of time as I was re-framing and zooming in to get a different composition for a tigher shot. Later on I wondered if the chinese group of professional photographers with their super expensive Canon EOS 1Ds saw what I saw and perhaps it was I who managed the best shot of the day with my humble consumer-grade Pentax Optio43WR! *ahem*Here’s wishing you a wonderful weekend and may you see wonderful and amazing lights and sights!
