Some swims in the river are, much to the chagrin of the kayaker(s) concerned, utterly unintended! Don’t take my word for it – just ask Brian, Ian, Richard or Felicia!

I was beginning to wonder how you manage to get the before and after pictures, till i read your comment. It wasn’t anticipation or wishfull thinking, you knew they were going down, intentionally.

Yeah, getting off the kayak for a dip is definitely fun by flipping, especially after scraping over rapids.

agus - actually they flipped unintentionally!

chances were high they would as they were newbies and I was kinda anticipating that! ;)

panda - was a little cold actually as it was an overcast day with light breeze and it rained part of the way.
