Traffic Jam @ Bengoh

by FH2o on January 29, 2007

The ‘put-in’ at Bengoh is one of the most unexpected and pleasant surprise as the beautiful tributary Sg Abang, which leads to Sg Sarawak Kiri, is down below and hidden from view from the approach road. The small concrete footpath leading down to it is narrow and if we have more than a few participants on a trip, there would be a small ‘traffic-jam’ of kayaks and people as everyone eagerly awaits to get on to the beautiful waters. However it is a traffic jam that everyone is happy to put up with (have you heard laughters and seen happy smiling faces at a traffic jam before?) and there are no toll(s) either on the highway that they’re getting on!
