Happy New Year's Paddle

I wanted to go out for my customary new year's day solo paddle but Buddy wanted to tag along putting on his most pitiful face and whine. But my sea kayak's cockpit is meant for only one and so I set off without him. And two hours plus later, he was still sitting at the jetty waiting. *sigh*
What can I do but to take him out for a joy ride as well on my tandem kayak with a little help from KH2o who has taken pity on him and had kept him company at the jetty!

Such true words about getting a dog. I love dogs, had a great one when I was a kid, but have never considered getting one here - I'm just plain not home enough.
