My friends in KL took me to this restaurant - Restaurant Goon Wah, somewhere off Jalan Kuchai Lama for lunch (they only open for lunch) which in their opinion serves the best fish head noodle in town. After a sweaty but hearty lunch I had to agree. It was simply delicious; so delicious in fact that we concentrated on the eating with little talking until the meal was nearly over!
The fried rice was average but the ‘Guinness’ chicken wings was stellar. It was a bit hard to ‘tahpau’ (take-away) the soupy fish head noodle but I ordered the Guinness chicken wings to take back to Kuching. I’m feeling hungry just thinking about it! I’m such a pig.

mm - You owe it to yourself to visit us in Malaysia one day! And I would be more than happy to show (and eat with you) the (sometimes) bizzare gastronomical delights we have here!
