I just got into the hotel room at Seberang Jaya, Perai, Penang and was looking at the device where you slot in your room card to switch on the power to your hotel room and noted how stupidly ridiculous odd it is to have the entrance and bath room lights switches to be located there.
And sure enough I get a perplexed phone call from the other head of another section who was traveling with me to Kulim asking where the heck the light switch to the bath room is after searching high and low for it!
Sometimes these ‘clever’ people who designed these devices are just too clever for theirs and our own good …

Well, if it keeps people from leaving on lights and Aircon and so on, perhaps not such a dumb idea…
I guess finding useful, reliable information on the itrnenet isn’t hopeless after all.
