It was a pleasant surprise to discover a nice
‘happening’ place with a great ambiance in Seberang Prai on the
Penang mainland. We were there last week as dinner guests at a thai restaurant and there were plenty of other eateries there as well. It started as “AutoCity” (now into Phase 3 of its development) where all the various dealers of cars were invited to come and put up their show rooms and it has since became a magnet for other business activities. It was a weekday but even then the place was quite packed. Simple in concept and design; it provided a useful venue to take note of and learn from it the simple ingredients that make it a commercial success even in a small town.
Wherever you are, may your weekend be successful and very ‘happening’ as well!
