It was a glorious day yesterday and despite it being a public holiday (King’s Coronation) a few of us were cooped up inside the office getting ready the presentations for the Board of Directors Meeting the next day. Two of us took a breather out at the office tower roof terrace – he breathed while I snapped away and sighed - as I should be out on the waters at Bako National Park kayaking …

Wah! Really clear day in Kuching. Kl was cloudy, sunlight hidden but then, less jam. Welcome to the new age King.
What a contrast these 2 photos from our concrete jungle here in Spore. I bet you can tell me the names of the 2 ’sky scrapers’ in the distance. The scene looks vaguely familiar. Is one of them the Sesco building?
lam chun see - In the first pic, the blg on the left is ChongLin Towers (a really hideous apartment blg)and the building on the right is the Saberkas Blg (also a hideous office blg but not as bad as the first one!) which is the blg on the left in the second photo.
The beautiful mountain in the background is Gunung Santubong where the beach resorts at damai sit at the foothills.
