Dayaks throughout Sarawak are today celebrating their annual harvest festival - Gawai. So here’s wishing all of you who are celebrating this festival, Happy Gawai Dayak.

I’m taking it easy today although I met up with an office colleague for a 7 am cycle from my place to the Samajaya Industrial estate followed by a tosai and roti canai breakfast which I suspect negate any of the benefits from our 1 hour plus leisurely cycle! Irregardless enjoy your holidays; especially those of us in Sarawak as we have a 4 days of public holidays in a row from today onwards. Eat your heart out …
