I received a number of excited phone calls and sms from friends just now urging me to go outside and take a look at the sun! Now!
I did and saw a midday miracle of a rainbow halo around the sun.Amazing!
I got goosebumps as I’d just blogged about ‘Ordinary Miracle’ yesterday!
What an coincidence or is it really?

according to wiki this is a 22deg halo.
refer to below link

what miracle is there? having a visible ring seen around the sun is not a miracle…..
what’s so miraculious about that?
that visible ring is caused by light that is reflected on ice crystals high in the atmosphere associated with cirus clouds….
HALLELUYA!
yup, it’s a sun halo. I have seen it for a few times already. I think almost half of the population in Kuching knew about this halo because too many people either call or sms each others to look up the sky during the lunch break. Happy Friday!
i’ve only one word for that halo - HEROES! haha…i’m such a geek for that show. i think u shud continue photographing “ordinary miracles” regardless of what other people may say/think. it’s ours to appreciate. TGIF!
cfy - Yes it is a 22deg halo and not as frequently seen here. Thks for the info.
lucifer - You are quite right as some ppl do not ever see or experience any miracle(s) in their (sad) lives … even if one is staring at them in the face. We all see what we chooses to see. That’s fine.
wuching - Louder please!
michael lo - Thks for the sms heads up! Haven’t heard from u for a while n it took a halo to do that - a miracle indeed!
serenity - I’ll continue to blog/photograph whatever I like and love; no worries about that whatsoever. I love HEROES too. My youngest son have episodes 1-14 and 22 and 23 on his iPod which he kindly lets his busy dad watches whenever he can find the time!
