Sarawak Rainforest Interhash 2010

by FH2o on May 11, 2008

Kuching-based Hornbill Hash House Harriers went to Perth, Australia, and has won the bid to host the next World Interhash which means that up to 5,000 people will be ‘running wild’ in Kuching from July 2 to 4 two years from now. It was a triumph as we won the bid by 500 votes ahead of Kenya. You can scrutinize the details of the voting here.

Even if you are not into running around like a flappin’ mad kampung chicken in the jungles, it could be a good excuse (you need none really) to visit Kuching as it is held just before the renown Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF). C’mon! You’ve got 2 years to save up and plan for this trip. A rainforest kayaking trip would be the icing on the cake.

So if you are really ‘kiasu’, you can sign up with organising secretary Josh John (012-8599130 or 013-8122681). For further information you can also visit www.borneointerhash2010.com

I have not checked in for a while. I ran with my kids at a Kuching hash about 3 years ago. It was fun.
