No thanks to illegal downloads from Rapidshare, my notebook was infected by the free-viruscan.com virus which is a browser hijacker that disguises as a legitimate Windows warning message and redirects user to website that will then prompt you to download protection software. It’s a scamware virus that wants to you to pay for a full license of the application in order to remove the ‘errors’; but damn annoying as hell. If your notebook is similarly infected, fear not - go to Malwarbytes’ Anti-Malware and download the program to scan and rid yourself of this virus.

Anyway over the weekend I took a Danish family of 6 for dolphins spotting in which we spotted none! I was expecting disappointment but much to our surprise we were generously tipped instead! I also took a group of people out kayaking at Borneo highlands comprising 7 Swedes and 4 Polish. Again this group was similarly affected by the magical experience of kayaking in the wonderful tropics and minded not the least when the van’s air conditioning broke down on the trip back!
What a treat for my battered feet - a pedicure by Gina. 4th August 2008
And yesterday on a lark I decided to treat my battered feet to a treat - for a pedicure with Gina, after work. Luckily she was able to oblige my 5.30pm appointment and you need to make an appointment 012-8048338 as her services are quite popular. It was a treat alright as Gina was trained in New York (she came back about a year ago - dunno why!) and is probably the only qualified manicurist/pedicurist in town. This was my first pedicure and after the tender, luxurious and expert treatment from Gina, it would certainly not be my last. Business has picked up purely from word of mouth and she would be moving to a new (and much less noisy!) premise in Petanak (“Manicure by Gina” I think) instead of at Eastmoore come 1st of September. She also does nail art, artificial nails, waxing & hair removal, hands and feet treatment, etc. Make an appointment with Gina - your nails will be very grateful to you (!), Mine are.
