Eating Out In Kuching @ Village Fast Food: Food Bloggers Meet 27 December 2008

by FH2o on December 19, 2008

What a better way to eat out in Kuching then to be in a spanking new restaurant in town – Village Fast Food; which not only provides delicious fast food (both local, Chinese and western dishes) but around the clock – yes it’s a 24 hours food outlet!

Rice steamed in ceramic bowl is a Village Fastfood specialty

And the good news I am sharing here for all the food bloggers in town (visitors are also welcomed) is that Eating Out Kuching or Eat OK for short is organizing a Bloggers Meet there on next Saturday, 27 December 2008 starting 6.30pm till late. Check out this post here (or click on the poster above) and register your name there and await their confirmation. Yes it’s the magical Malaysian word – FREE MAKAN! However you would need to pay for your own drink which is fair enough.

Village Fast Food is not quite 100% ready yet as there were minor touching up works in progress when I visited them this week; but they are opened for business already (although not 24 hours yet). The Bloggers Meet there on the 27 December 2008 is a soft launching of sort for them as well as the latest (and greatest) Food Blog in town – www.eatingoutkuching.com which promises to be the number 1 resource in Kuching if you are looking for information on food and eating out! Eat Well!

Lling - That would require you taking a flight as well! BTW we’re having a number of Singaporeans coming to Kuching of late. More I suspect with the cheap flights between Spore and Kuching coming on stream.

Actually Lam Chun See of Good Morning Yesterday - http://goodmorningyesterday.blogspot.com/ was here with his family and they went kayaking with us on Christmas Eve.
