I woke up early last Tuesday to catch the first Jetstar’s flight from Singapore Changi Terminal 1 airport for Kuching.

A week has sped past by so fast without so much as a flutter and lest these magical photos I took that morning on the flight back remain unseen I’m posting them here to share with you all.

I love flying and I love mornings and I love watching the magic of all that is around us unfolds to those who notices and appreciates; in the humming quietness of a half empty cabin.

I’m at peace with the world with nothing on my mind and I clicked with ease at the beautiful images that floated past me.

The sky, the land, the sea, the mountains and the rivers all merge into all that is good in this world. Despite having woken up at 5 a.m. I felt fresh and alive.
There’s a heightened awareness of everything that was around me. And as the airport turned for the approach to the airport ; I saw and snapped this most beautiful and wispy view of Kuching that I’d ever seen. Be well and have a great week ahead.

Nice pics, Francis!
That’s a very cheerful-looking sunrise!
Actually, I find I really like the one (third from the end) showing all those little, fluffy clouds marching over an expanse of green as if in rows like an army or a vast herd of sheep. It caught my eye for some reason.
Enjoy your trip!
Kuching is indeed more than paradise
MM - Glad you like cheerful sunrise. I like your imagination!
amir - I’m grateful that I can call this place home.
Wow. The airline should buy these pics for advertising - along with your description of the flight.
